Commelina Diffusa, with opened flower.


I finally found a previous article about this plant. See dayflower vine commelina diffusa. It showed a plant with budding flowers (unopened), courtesy of Susan Estrope Dicker. I am lucky to find the following specimen with open flowers!

The flowers, in my humble opinion, are so much more beautiful than those of the peacock ginger. But it has a humble common name: PIGWEEED!
