Look Up Photos of the day

The clear blue sky makes a good background for the tops of trees. Here is an album taken May 1, 2013 with our HS25EXR camera.

Sunbird

Most sunbirds have beautiful coloring but we only get a black headed with the requisite yellow plummage. I need to shoot again, and I hope I can find another specimen.

this bird looks like a newly hatched chicken which can fly! I saw it this morning in one of the bougainvilleas in the backyard of the house of our parents.

I thought it was a sunbird, but this bird does not have a long beak.

The red brown maya, Lonchura atricapilla jagori.

One of the most invasive bird is the European tree house sparrow also called mayang-bahay. They are almost everywhere, so numerous, that it is a welcome sight to see a native maya today in Bacolod City, carrying a nesting twig in its beak.
