Unusual extended flower stalk in a hibiscus.

I nearly flipped out when I saw some extra growth flower stems in this hibicus plant growing at U.P. Clarkfield at the lobby entrance. I suspect that this hibiscus plant is a GMO(Genetically Modified Organism), but I am not so sure. I do not like it. But what can I do?

I found this flower at the U.P Dilman, near the Benitez building.

I am revising this article with photos uploaded to blogger. We call them Tapulanga back home and I think they are the most common flowers anywhere in the Philippines due to their variety.
