Bloodleaf plants.

These bloodleaf plants are valued for their red foliage. We wonder how it can generate chlorophyl to transform carbon dioxide to oxygen. The photos are part of our album on Kahulohiha Eco Park.

We are guessing the scientific name as iresine herbstii.
