I dont know the species. Are these migrant visitors? What are they doing over Metro Manila?

It is a Lime Butterfly (Papilio demoleus).

The bird was perching on an electric wire. If it is migratory, we are only awed by its energy in crossing vast distances from Japan and northern countries to spend their winter in the Philippines.

Foliage plant with mostly red leaves
This looks like a specimen of "Alternanthera ficoidea". Also called a Josep's coat.
Canon releases EOS 700D camera
I just scanned the page D1 from Manila Bulletin, Septemb3r 27, 2013.. The ad emphasizes the available 7 creative filters than can be displayed real-time like making the photo looks like an oil or water color painting or taken with a toy camera.
Canon might have hired a cheap advertising agency though. It says that
The new Canon EF-S 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 STM kit lens integrated STEPPING motor allows fast and quite autofocus. Perfect for movie or live view shooting.
It should be 'quiet' not 'quite'.
it is available with body only(34,998 pesos), with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens (40,998 pesos) and with 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM kit lens lens(53,998 pesos).
There are cheaper modern compact cameras but the canon brand is well respected for its Image Quality.

Red headed, blue-winged waspish insect
I saw the insects pollinating an aratiles (datiles in Visayan) in UP Clarkfield.

A yellow green coleus
My friend Al Claud captured this stunning photo of a yellow green coleus with a Samsung ES15, a 10+ megapixel camera.
The red coleus provides a nice contrast.

An unknown plant (identified as creeping charlie)

We disccover that the plant is also called a swedish ivy,sharing the same common name as the Plectranthus_verticillatus.
