MALA-SIBUYAS weed plant.

An interesting find in the wild(abandoned) areas at UP Subic Bay, Olongapo. they look like sibuyas but they are far different. I thought they would open with petals, but no, istead they are seed capsules.

Photographs taken with Fujifilm HS50EXR 42x superzoom camera on Feb. 14, 2015.

Identified as Operculina sp., a member of the morning glory family, by Fernando Pitargue. Best guess: operculina turpethum.
