I was alarmed this morning when I saw from the pedestrian bridge at Philcoa thick heavy smoke rising from afar. I just hope no one died in this blaze. When I came back, there was still smoke but lighter. In this time of hot days, we have to be more careful.
Maybe it is internal lens reflections, or the flimsy lens coatings, but I often get distracting pinkish lens flare problems with my superzoom camera. The following photos were taken on Feb. 26, 2015
Crows were protected at clarkfield during the time it was a USAF base. Though they may ot be beautiful birds to some, these birds are a sight to behold with their shiny black colors and long beaks. All photographs were taken with the Fujifilm HS50EXR camera.
