Somebody has commented in a Facebook tree conservation group that this is a Molave tree.

Trees: Madre de cacao, gliricidia sepium

Unfortunate that the soil in DSB in my sister's farm is acidic! But madre de cacao is a legume tree which thrives in acidic soild and is useful to prevent soil erosion!

I havent seen them (Salvador Benedicto specimens) flower, but I hope to photograph that when that happens.

Tree,: Licuala Grandis, ruffled fan palm

This strange looking palm is a native of the Vanuatu,in the Pacific. The nice thing is that it will only grow to around 2 meters.
