Passer montanus, eurasian tree sparrow #2


This is the second post about the common Eurasian tree sparrow or maya-bahay. I did not want to add a new photo to the first post. This photo here is so much clearer, since it was shot very nearby at Philcoa.

Birds. common eurasian sparrow (mayas), Passer montanus



There are 6 birds I can find in this photo.




Here is a photo of a single bird



It was said that the maya was the former National Bird of the Philippines, but the current one is the mighty monkey eating eagle. But before that an endangered native oriole bird.
