A new camera to our arsenal: Samsung NX-1000

I dont know what happened to me, but yesterday, I bought a combined Samsung NX 1000 camera with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0" tablet with WSVGA 1024x600 resolution capacitive LCDd touchscreen,Wifi(B|Gand N), front(VGA) /back(3MP) cameras 4000mAh battery, Dual core processor , Full HD playback and HD recording, and GS Bluetooth 3.0, dlna andd DIVX HD, standard 8Gbytes memory (expandable), touch wiz UX user interface and latest Android 4.1.1 tablet OS!


The camera with a plasticky BLACK colored body, available also in WHITE and PINK colors, boasts of the following specs:

Priced originally at around 700USD, the price has stunningly gone down to 350USD!
Samsung also sells a 50mm-200mm lens for the NX-1000 camera costing around 250 USD. That is expensive relatively to the price of the camera. Most users use the camera for landscape and city views.




The camera is with my brother for testing. I hope to try it sometime but first, I need to buy a Nikon D5200 body.
