NLEX, asleep at the wheel can be fatal in NLEX!

We faculty member commute via a toll supported superhighway from Manila to Pampanga and back again from Pampanga to Manila. This morning, we felt sad when we saw a muddy car in the ditch which was facing backwards towards Manila. We were aghast when we saw NLEX personnel wearing gas maks! This only means that there was still a DEAD body inside the car.

What does this Marilao factory make?

It is one of my favorite scenes along NLEX, and I am always challenged when the van or bus is fast moving! I am sill wondering what this factory produces.

Angat (Bulacan) River from NLEX

I passed by the bridge spanning the Angat river every time I commute from Pampanga to Manila via NLEX. This provides a great view of the river especially when it is a modern bus and you are in the right side.

Sky photos: NLEX

I always try to bring my compact camera, and I am happy whenever I get the chance to sit in the front seat of the van going back and forth to UP Clarkfield, Pampanga. The 88 km first class highway seems to have surprises in store always for those who decides NOT to sleep in the almost 1 hour drive.

Here is a photo, taken by my lowly NOKIA C3 camera phone. It illustrates that even a 2 Megapixel camera can capture the beauty of the wide expanse of the sky.

Nokia really makes excellent photographic components for its cellphones. The high quality beats the ordinary imaging outputs of some 5 Megapixel cameras!
