Decorative red banana plant

I saw this in a flower show in QCMC and I was glad finding it again in Monterrey Resort up in boro-boro,
Alangilan, Bacolod City. I do not know if the banana is edible[It is, according to the Wiki].


I hope the banana tree is really endemic to the area and not an introduced variety.
