This plant is a native of Florida, Central and Latin America can grow as a bush or small tree up to 5 meters. The flowers are shaped like trumpets.
It is heart warming that our family home lot and some neighbors have this showy shrub. The plant should be differeentiated from the golden shower tree and the more majestic Amanda Cathartica which are also called yellow bells.
