The scientific name of this tree is Artocarpus blancoi.I found this specimen growing in Bgy Punta-taytay, Bacolod City and in Mag-aso Falls, Oringao, Kabankalan and of course even in U.P. Bliss Area, Philcoa, Quezon City. I hope it will be more widely known to Filipinos all over the country.
Related trees are the rimas, kamansi and dalungyan. It would be fun to differentiate between these.
