Samio plant



This plant is a native of East Africa, from Tanzania, Kenya to SouthEastern South Africa. The leaves look similar to a zamia plant(cardboard plant) and is related to to the colocaseia family.


Here is a free image from wikipedia which shows its flower.It looks like an anthurium without a colorful spathe.
