Birds: Not a Common brown Shrike, Lanius cristatus, but the common Yellow Vented Bulbul!


I first thought this was a shrike but this bird is a yellow vented bulbul.






Here ia an enhanced version, with slight magnification, using the built-in editing tools in the camera itself!

    this is a yellow vented bulbul, the characteristic yellow area at the base of the tail is clearly showing
