The flower above was photographed in Clarkfield, Pampanga. Here is a yellow variety.
Some say it is a flower of the fire tree. We will check that statement later, but according to the reference, this one only grows to 3 meters high. Can our readers verify that the flower in this page, is different from the one shown here.

One of the commenters said that it is a Casesalpinia shown in the link.So peacock flower is a firetree?
