A new bird species sighting in U.P. Diliman

I wanted to shoot again the trees in the Washington Sycip Garden of Native trees in U.P. Diliman, and I was glad I shot this new bird sighting near the Alumni Center, at the back of the College of Music building. I was only able to get one photo, but the photo is good enough. Next time, I will shoot more and faster. Hope someone can identify this beautiful bird.

Fleshy wood mushrooms

I do not know if this is edible, but it is fleshy to touch. It is obviously different from the ganoderma spp. we have shown from Salvador Benedicto. These photos were taken near the Bahay Alumni at the University of the Philippines.
